Throwing out all structure would be stupid. Hierarchy in organizations has its place.

But it also has its limitations.

Groups of people are living, breathing things. Every individual is engaged with numerous tribes outside the tribe you know them in.

This makes command-and-control in the realm of ideas and relationships a pretty useless idea.

Connectors lead with ideas that are worth repeating. Ideas worth sharing will find their way into other tribes. Some individuals in those tribes will ask you a question.

And you have a chance to win over a new heart and mind.
